Creativity and You!

Outside my porch door winter is melting. The snow is running like a brook to the ocean. What a glorious sound. Seminal. Spring is preparing her flowers to bloom. I am working on several Watershed pieces to announce the season . Have you ever thought about your own creative energy as having a season? What if creative flow is as natural as snow melting. What if creative energy is like a running creek to the ocean and all you have to do, like Huckleberry Finn, is put your raft on the river? Like the bird-song that begins in the spring, you can start singing if you listen to the call and heed the muse. It is as natural as the sun rising. This green light to yourself is all it takes to give yourself permission to expressive your own unique awareness. YOU CAN DO IT!!!

First DaDa Flower, 2006, 8 "x10"
Reminded of a time when art revolted from norm, the dada movement calls for appreciation of the familiar flower.

24" x 18"
"Abeland", 2006
Inspired by the teachings of Abraham-Hicks,
Abeland reflects the abstract of vibrational
awareness in the body of sub-atomic possibility.
What is Abstract Art?

People ask me this. You would think all they have to do is look at one of my paintings and they
would have their answer. But, maybe they think all art should look like a photograph of something. Well, I believe if you want representational art like that, take a picture with your camera.

Abstract Art is for and about freedom. It is freedom to express feeling and energy and idea without constraint and confinement. It is pure energy extrapolating meaning from imagination and IMHO, the more uplifting energy you use the better. This expressive genre opens doors to the unknown, the mystery, the spirit. It offers you an alternative way to see. It asks you to use your heart and to trust your heart's decisions. It is authentic. But it isn't reality some say. What...love isn't reality?

24" x 18"
"RABland", 2006
A community of loving feminine energy is the belief behind this painting. It is a place where the Muse can be home.

My abstractions are based from love. This transformative energy intentionally creates ambiguity. It demands you befriend spontaneity. As seminal art in all of history says, liberate your spirit, look within.
Fulcanelli, hermetic author, alchemist and philosopher speaks to the cant and punning of the divine. Abstract art is this. Mine are spiritual technologies. They are like the songs of birds, a foreign language you understand the meaning of with your heart.

Fulcanelli's masterpiece was 'The Mystery of the Cathedrals'. He reminds us to look for the divine light which explains the complex easily. This knowledge of alchemical language is the soul of abstract art. It's not a secret language anymore. The mysticism of the abstract was once an outlaw's art, the language of outsiders and social fringe dwellers. Now this tool of the soul has a life of it's own and has created a place of illumination for everyone.
